Off This Week: None

The Colts are #1 for the thirs straight week after a covincing win over the Ravens. New Orleans and Minnesota both impressed last week and move up to #'s 2 and 3. I decided to put San Diego ahead of the Jets only because I feel they are still a better team, only a kicker away from the AFC Championship. Still, the Jets are the big jumper of the week, up to 5. Dallasi s the big faller all the way down to 7 after a horrible outing in Minnesota. Baltimore and Arizona are 6 and 8, Green Bay and New England remain the default 9 and 10.

Off This Week: Phoenix Suns (9)

Cleveland and the Lakers remain one and two in the league. Dallas had a decent week outside of the Toronto debacle and move up to 3. Atlanta is pulling away in the Southeast and jumped to four. The jumper of the week is the red hot Nuggets, who go all the way up to five after being unranked two weeks ago. Boston is on a losing skid and is the faller of the week, down to six. San Antonio is also struggling and drops to seven. After Portland, another limping team, the Magic, drop another three spots to nine. Oklahoma City makes its power ranking debut this week at ten, with Phoenix off for the first time.

Off This Week: Calgary Flames (6) Big Faller This Week

The Sharks are #1 for the third straight week, followed by Chicago again. The Capitals now lead the East and are the big jumper this week, up to #3. Buffalo remains four, and the cooling Devils fall to #5. Colorado continues to climb, up to #6, followed by Pittsburgh and Nashville. Vancouver premiers in the rankings this week coming in at #9. Phoenix holds on to the 10 spot, and the faller of the week is the struggling Flames, who go from six to off the board.

The top five is again the same for the third straight week, with Gaga leading the charge again. Outside of that, #'s 7-10 from last week move up one spot, as Jay Sean, Boys Like Girls, Taylor, and Rihanna all jump one spot. Owl City takes a big hit, as Fireflies prepares for a chart departure, it hangs on this week at #10. Nothing new here this week.

Avatar has now topped a ridiculous $500 million dollars and continues to tear apart the box office at number one. The Book of Eli is the jumper of the week as it had a successful debut at number two. The Lovely Bones had a decent open, the suspense/thriler debuted at three. Somehow, Alvin and friends are still at #4 to my disbelief, while Sherlock Holmes takes a tumble to #5. Jackie Chan's The Spy Next Door debuts at a somewhat disappointing #6, while last week;s #5-8 all drop two spots to #'s 7-10 each. Daybreakers completly bombs in its second weekend, it's the big faller thsi week and is one and done. Youth in Revolt and the animated Princess and Frog also are off this week.
