It's time for another fantasy sports update. Not a whole lot going on this week, so this should be pretty brief.
Fantasy Football
It's the final week of the regular season and, after a tough loss to Vincenzo last week, I STILL have not clinched a playoff spot. Nevertheless, only a loss and a very bizarre scenerio will keep me out of the playoffs, and I'm playing the worst team in the league, Blood Quencher, this week as well. As for my lineup, changes could be made as Steve Slaton and Reggie Bush are both quesitonable and look to be game-time decisions. For Slaton, I have Chris Brown to replace him, though I feel as though Slaton will play. For Bush, I can switch him out with either Brown or wide receiver Johnny Knox.
QB- Matt Schaub vs. Kyle Orton
RB- Steve Slaton vs. Ricky Williams
RB- Rashard Mendenhall vs. Jerious Norowood
RB/WR- Reggie Bush vs. Mohammad Massaquoi
WR- Wes Welker vs. Larry Fitzgerald
WR- Steve Smith vs. Davone Bess
WR- Kevin Walter vs. Dennis Northcutt
TE- Kellen Winslow vs. Dallas Clark
K- Lawerence Tynes vs. Ryan Longwell
D/ST- Philadelphia Eagles vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Fantasy Baseball
I kicked off the 2010 Free Agent draft just a couple hours ago by taking highly touted prospect Matt Wieters from Baltimore. There is no way I couldn't have taken Wieters, he might be one of the best catchers to come along in a while and with Posada nearing the end, it made perfect sense.
Speaking of Posada, I am still in negotiations to trade him. Right now, it appears likely I will deal him to Portland, for either a first round pick next year or Franklin Gutierrez of Seattle. I'm leaning towards the latter since Gutirrez can fill a weakness in center field and allow me to dispose of Willy Taveras, who has been a bust for me since I drafted him first round in 2006. A deal will certainly be done by next week.
Fantasy Tennis
Due to a time zone mix-up and too much school work this week, I withdrew from the Prerov ITF Challenger this week. I might take next week off as well, though I have nto made a final decision as of yet.

This schedule may flunctuate depending on how the season is going, but I've decided to take some weeks off as rest breaks. Playing 52 weeks a year is just too much for me at this stage with other life responsibilites. My season will also end with the WTA season, I am no longer playing in November/DEcember ITFs and will take that time off.
